Recovering After Loosing All Your TPH Files

My wonderful and beautiful wife of thirty-eight years come the twentieth of this month, relayed a story she read about someone who had ordered merchandise over the internet. They didn't get a reply right away so called the company phone number listed on the site. A boy of fourteen answered the phone with the company name. He explained that his computer was down and would acknowledge the order as soon as his mother finished vacuuming his bedroom. There was only one AC outlet in the room and he surely didn't want his computer running at the same time as the vacuum. Smart kid.

Well, here at The Paperless Hymnal, we aren't that small. We have three outlets. But when you are the IT, Product Development, Accounting, Data Entry, Purchasing & Procurement, Packaging & Shipping, Advertising, Building Maintenance, and just about everything else except Meal and Janitorial Services all rolled into one, things can take a wrong turn when something goes wrong in any of those departments. Lets just say that backups are a wonderful thing when a hard drive goes out, but I have never seen a recovery go as smoothly as you intended for it to do so when you were making those backups. And wouldn't you know, the warranty on the computer ran out just four days prior to that drive going belly up. Sad, sad indeed.

I know such things happen to you also. Some of you have told me. You have also let me know that going back through all those updates isn't any fun. Well, we can take some of that misery away by letting you know that we can provide you with a new CD with all new files for just $10 total. Just call us or email us. This is for emergencies only. It helps if you know the Serial/Number of your last CD.

Now as for what data has been lost from our hard drive crash? About three months of email address changes for this newsletter - long gone. It could have been worse. So, my apologies to those of you who will get this newsletter this month who have asked to be taken off our list. You will need to unsubscribe again. And for those who do not receive it, please register again.
