Over the last couple of years, I have gotten many emails and phone calls from churches wanting to buy audio CDs of the songs in The Paperless Hymnal.
Making our own CDs is something we do not want to get involved in.
I have directed a choral group of over 28 years and we have made LPs, cassettes and CDs, but never on the scale that it would take to cover all 650 hymns, plus the different versions contained in TPH.
But I know where you can find cassettes and CDs of many of the songs.
Taylor Publications not only sells just about every Christian acappella album ever produced, but they also produce their own material. All the songs in their Contemporary, Teens and Kids series have CDs of very good quality. Check them out at www.taylorpublications.com You can find older Hallal CDs at Howard Publications. If the song is arranged or written by Ken Young, chances are that you can find the music on one of their CDs. If the song is in "Songs of Faith and Praise", you will find the music on a cassette or CD also at Howard Publications. If the song is by Zoe, then look for CDs at www.zoegroup.org. And if your congregation is using "Praise for the Lord", then make sure you look at the Ohio Valley Bookstore site. You will not be able to order off the site, but you can call them at 800-879-7323 to place an order. They also have Free Indeed CDs. And - speaking of Free Indeed, check out their merchandise on the Free Indeed site. |
